The 2006 Community Television Awards "The Antennas" were held on Friday 16th June at the BMW Edge Theatre at Federation Square, Melbourne Australia.  The Antennas is an event to recognise the deversity of programs being produced around Australia.

 So, why am I talking about this here?  Two reasons!  Firstly, I was the floor manager for the broadcast. and Secondly, Salam Café won Program of the Year!  I think that's kind of neat :)

The program went to air live at 8:30pm in Melbourne, and was also show live via satellite in Brisbane and Adelaide; running a little over-time, the program finished at 10:40pm
